Situated in a peaceful location in Glenwood, opposite a small residential park that looks magnificent when its Flamboyant Trees are in full bloom.
Opened in 2012 in loving memory of Elaine Finch and Roma Unsworth, who lived their last few years with Alzheimer’s.
On 1 December 2023, Graceland Nursing Home was purchased by Mrs Verna Brickley, who, for the past 16 years has successfully run Falls Haven and Bluff Haven. Verna opened her first home, Falls Haven, in memory of her grandfather, Mr Bob Truter after he suffered a stroke. Verna couldn’t find a suitable nursing home and that’s when she decided to open her own nursing home with the intention of providing elderly loved ones with a homely, peaceful place to live and be cared for.
Graceland Nursing Home is managed by professional staff in loving and homely surroundings, with clean and spacious rooms.
Our home offers single and sharing rooms as well as a choice of cottages for our assisted living residents. Residents have the choice of furnishing their own rooms or having us provide them with furnished rooms.
Our trained, friendly, knowledgeable staff members help our residents function as independently as possible.
At Graceland Nursing Home we do all we can to prevent illnesses or accidents from happening. We achieve this by monitoring closely the condition of all our residents. We pride ourselves on our high nursing standards and have high criteria for the employment of any new employee.
