I studied my degree of BSc Human Movement Science and Physiology (2015-'18) and my Honours degree of BSc Biokinetics (2018) at North-West University, South Africa.

I often get asked the question: What is Biokinetics?
Since Biokinetics is such a new career path that was first developed and made official in South Africa in 1994, I am always excited to educate people on this more.

Let's start with the word itself: Biokinetics. Translated from Greek it means the following:
Bios = Life + Kinetics = Movement
This is a summary of all that entails Biokinetics - Life through Movement. This is the mantra that we go by and are proud of.

The easiest way for me to help people understand what we do, although they've never heard of this career path, is to connect Biokinetics to a familiar industry that they do know of. The industry Biokinetics fall under is the medical aspect of the health and wellness sector. Biokinetics is science based and we create individualized programs accordingly.
