Being a new mom is magical… and overwhelming🤍

There’s no rulebook, and every day teaches you something new.

Here are 5 gentle reminders to help you breathe easier through the newborn stage 🤍 – Dr Mel

1. Trust your instincts.
No one knows your baby’s cues, cries and rhythms better than you.

2. Rest when you can.
Even 20 minutes makes a difference. A rested mom is a stronger mom.

3. Accept help.
You’re not meant to do this alone. Lean on your village.

4. Feed without guilt.
Breastfeeding, formula, combination — a fed baby and supported mom is what matters.

5. Take care of you.
A shower, a walk, a quiet moment… your well-being is essential too.

You’re doing better than you think. 🤍✨

Newborn rashes are a common occurance in the newborn period
Most of these rashes and mild and self limiting.

It’s important to use fragrance free products on their sensitive skins.

If a rash continues to worsen or causes significant discomfort.
Please get advice from your health care providers.
