Today is World Prematurity Day, a reminder of the importance of supporting mothers and babies from the very beginning.

Through our YouThrive Health programme, Zoë-Life recognises the critical support that young mothers (aged up to 24) need to keep themselves and their babies healthy. Our session, “Healthy Mother, Healthy Baby,” provides education on nutrition, antenatal care, recognising early warning signs, and the importance of booking into a health facility to give birth safely.

Operation Mbo took place today at Isikhumbuzo Sports Ground in Umlazi C Section (Ward 81), where Philisiwe Community Health care , our dedicated Community Health Worker, delivered essential services including child immunisation, family planning, HIV testing, pap smears, and health education.
