Summerveld Equine Hospital The dedicated team of staff aim to give all equine patients the highest quality medical and surgical care possible

The hospital offers a 24 hour emergency service and has in-house patient facilities for 20 horses. As a busy equine hospital numerous procedures are performed under general anaesthesia, eg orthopedic, opthalmic, upper airway and abdominal surgeries. Medical cases and lameness investigations make up a large part of the work done in the hospital. Modern diagnostic equipment including videoendoscopy, ultrasound scanners, shock wave therapy unit and x ray machines are used extensively in the hospital and in the field.
