Dr. Rudi Hayden obtained his MBChB from the University of the Free State in 2001. Prior to starting specializing in Urology, he worked in the United Kingdom for 18 months. Upon returning to South Africa he gained experience in the disciplines of family medicine, general surgery, trauma, intensive care and nephrology. He qualified as a specialist Urologist from the University of the Free State in 2016, where he completed his research project on the effect of orchiectomy for prostate cancer on PSA and Testosterone levels. Rudi and his family relocated to Pretoria in 2016 to start his private practice at Netcare Pretoria East Hospital set in the eastern part of the Jacaranda City. His practice focuses on general urology and he enjoys interaction with a variety of patients. He believes that healing does not just involve the curing of disease, but the improvement and sustaining of quality of life
