Dear Patient/client

Please be advised that Doctor Chris Moschides’ practice will be moving to new premises as of 1st November 2023.

Our physiotherapy practice will continue to operate, as usual, from the Dunvegan Medical Centre at 48 Dunvegan Avenue, Dunvegan.

We continue to enjoy a good relationship with the practice of Doctor Moschides and we wish them success in their new venture, and assure you of continued referral and communication between all parties.

Amidst these new changes, the care of you, our patients remains our primary concern.

Dear Patients & Friends,

It's the end of an era for Dr Chris, Dr Tanna and Dr Bizos — and the start of something new for us all! After 33 years at Dunvegan Medical Centre, 48 Dunvegan Avenue, we will be joining the Intercare Group and will be relocating our medical practice to the new, modern Intercare Bedfordview Medical and Dental Centre, Village View, Van Buuren Road, Bedfordview, above Tasha's, from 1 November 2023.

There is no action required on your part. All your medical files will be transferred to our new practice and our telephone number will remain the same, so simply contact us as normal when you need your next appointment. Soon you will be able to book an appointment online. Other advantages are that the practice accepts all major medical aids, we will be open 7 days a week and there is ample secure parking.

We're excited about this new chapter and the benefits it will bring to our community. Our family orientated approach to our practice will remain our bedrock along with our excellent specialist referral system that has been the hallmark of our success for many years.

We are grateful for your loyal support over the years and look forward to seeing your familiar faces in Bedfordview.

It’s more resilient than that!

And things like spinal manipulation can certainly help reduce pain and tightness and improve ROM, but not because it’s relocating a bone that is out of place.

If our vertebrae “slipped” out of place that easily, we’d be in trouble!!

Spinal manipulation can help to quickly desensitize the area around the joint (via neurophysiological effects) which produces immediate improvement in mobility and decreased pain

Manipulation CAN be a part of a solid treatment program, but our bias would be to follow that up with some movement and loading as well 😉
