Vacancy available for a qualified Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (Locum).

📍 Location: Bethal Office, Mpumalanga
🗓 Start Date: 1 October 2025

Education (Mandatory):
• Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Occupational Health Nursing
• Registered with South African Nursing Council (SANC)
• Proof of SASOHN membership
• Audiometry and Spirometry certificate
• Basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Mine Health Act

Language Skills:
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Mathematical acumen
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Computer Skills:
• Intermediate computer skills are essential

Today, the weather in Emalahleni mirrors our sadness as we bid a final farewell to our beloved colleague and friend, Monica Dreyer. After a courageous and tireless battle with cancer, Monica left us on Sunday, 15 December.

For all of us, she was much more than a colleague—she was a confidante, a friend, a guiding light, and an unwavering advocate.

We will miss her infectious smile and the quick jokes that often brought moments of levity when the weight of a busy day felt overwhelming.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.

Tannie Monica, though your space is now empty, you will forever live on in our hearts.

Though World Prematurity Day may have passed, the significance of supporting premature babies and their families is something we hold dear every day.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our very own Sr Martie van Rooyen and Sr Ria Keen for their incredible kindness and thoughtfulness. They created and donated beautiful gifts for the babies and moms at Witbank Hospital, spreading warmth and care during a challenging time. Your generosity truly makes a difference!
