It was such an honour to be apart of the event and catch up with our beautiful families...

This year the theme was “Give preterm babies a strong start for a hopeful future"
It reminds us that a strong start isn’t just about survival — it’s about honouring the promise of every tiny life. It’s about giving these babies the chance not only to survive, but to thrive, grow, and one day, transform the world.

As a High Risk Obstetrician, the reality of a premature delivery is always present, but my role is to optimize both mum and baby, educate and support families from conception to cradle!

From song and dance to babies crawling and running around with balloons in hand, it reminded me of the beauty of life and the human spirit

These four stunning women were all part of my Zululand Fibroid Clinic’s first Uterine Fibroid Embolization procedures in October 2025.

They came to visit me last week for their one month follow-up. They all reported a pain free month with minimal cycles, an amazing improvement in quality of life, and clinically had between 40-60% reduction in fibroid size after just one month!
