– Crank but No Start | No OBD Communication
Vehicle cranks but does not start.
No communication with the ECU.
Initial checks done on site:
• Diagnostic scan attempted – no communication
• Fuel line opened – no fuel pressure present
• Confirms a fuel delivery/control issue, not a starter or battery problem
Next steps will require further electrical and fuel system testing (fuel pump circuit, relays, ECU power/grounds, immobiliser signals, etc.) before parts are replaced.
⚠️ Important note:
A diagnostic scan is not payment for a fix; it is payment for finding direction. Even when no fault codes are retrieved, time, tools, experience, and call-out are still used.
