Currently I'm reading "The Rise of the Ultra Runners"by Adharanand Finn. It's a beautifully written book on how and why this global phenomenon of ultra-distance running is gaining momentum at such a rate. I absolutely love this quote, which speaks to the way I approach my ultra-distances. I'll never be elite or even fast, but I can take every opportunity to marvel at the "expanding universe." And this is where exercise works its magic on wellness.

We don't have to go far.
We don't have to go fast.
We just need to move.

If you're looking for a relaxing read for the holiday season, I can thoroughly recommend this one. It's a goodie.
