As summer approaches, don’t forget to protect your eyes from harmful UV rays. Always choose sunglasses with 100% UV protection to prevent long-term damage like cataracts and macular degeneration. Even on cloudy days, UV exposure can still affect your eyes, so make sunglasses part of your daily routine. Pair them with a wide-brimmed hat for extra protection and stay hydrated to avoid dryness from heat and wind. If you wear prescription glasses, consider polarized or transition lenses for added comfort. Protecting your eyes this season isn’t just about style—it’s about lasting vision health.

Early detection of vision problems allows timely evaluation by an eye care professional, which can prevent long-term issues and support your child’s learning and development.
