About Us
Taking care of frail older persons for the past 50 years qualifies Gafa in saying “we know older persons”. Our Protea Care Centre opened its doors on 19 November 1969 – adding Rotary Village & Golden Years a few years later. 16 years ago, Ihlati Retirement Villas realized on a section of the old Boneschans Park. Our 2 Assisted Living houses is a safe and secure housing facility for persons who needs a little extra care – but not ready for frail care yet. Lastly, Ebenhaezer house – Residential facility for persons 55-75, still mostly independent. We provide an experienced management and a compassionate board.
