A sweet Sunday 🤍

We couldn’t have asked for better conditions at yesterday’s Midmar Mile. I felt strong in the water, sightings felt easier and I managed to swim straight for most of the race.
A 2minute improvement on my PB - I couldn’t be happier😁

That sub 30 is looking real good 😍

A great race followed by a delicious lunch and a game of padel 🤍 Grateful for the small things, the big things and everything in between 🤍

A small celebration here 🥳

This year I wanted a sub 20 1km swim. I also wanted to podium in my age group. I’ll celebrate the latter 🥳

I didn’t do as much training as I should have, honestly I got lazy and was enjoying padel too much. But I felt strong in the water and practicing sightings in the pool definitely paid off.

Maybe next year a sub 20 🤔

Case highlight 🤩

Operations have their place, but aren’t always needed. Each case is different and we need to look at the degree of injury and the patient’s symptoms amongst other factors.

This patient chose conservative management. And it worked.

The body does heal and you can move and even run again. We don’t always get the privilege of these before and after pics. So I’m glad you guys can see what the body is capable of when it’s supported with appropriate load.
