We had such fun recording this podcast! Perhaps it's just the dodgy brain connectivity that made for some entertaining discussions but in truth, menopause is not just a phase we need to get through. It's a real shift in hormones that have a genuine impact on our daily lives.
Add diabetes into that mix and you have a perfect storm! It's not that you're failing or losing control, it's a biological shift. Made even more challenging by the fact that no longer are 50 year olds sitting at home knitting and making tea!

So often I get asked - "are there any new drugs on the market for diabetes?" Its often hard to answer these questions as there are constantly new drugs being developed but access to them is often quite challenging.
Nevertheless, it is important to remain aware of what is available and continue to live in hope that one day, some day, these medications may be more easily accessible to all.
