“I had a right hip replacement (my 2nd) and employed Mavis for 14 days live-in care when I came home from hospital.

It was a wise decision and Mavis helped me in many ways. She is effective and aware. She took of control of the cleaning, the cooking and washing, and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble. I had quite a few problems at night and it was comforting to know that Mavis was always there to help. I would recommend Mavis as a thoroughly responsible woman who knows when is expected of her and follows it through.

The backup and support from Nurturing Love & Live was professional and most welcome. We were under Covid-19 lockdown and Mavis and I had self-isolate for the full period that she was with me. Nurturing Love & Live liaised with centre management, ensured that Mavis had her Covid tests done on time, made sure the fridge and cupboards were stocked with food, and that Mavis was moved into my home before I returned, so that everything was ready on my return from step-down. In this difficult time, it was also reassuring to know that Mavis was transported safely home by the company at the end of the 14-day period.”
