Quick mention, because this gets mixed up all the time:
Dry skin = lacks oil
Dehydrated skin = lacks water (hydration)
Barrier-impaired skin = leaks both

You can be oily and dehydrated.
You can be shiny and tight.
You can even be breaking out and dehydrated (yes, really).

Skin doesn’t misbehave for no reason.
