If you are registered with your medical aid for Hypertension, Diabetes, or Asthma, your medical aid recommends the following annually:

- ECG for all Hypertension and Diabetes patients

- Lung function test for Asthma patients

Dear Sizwe Hosmed Patients,

After unsuccessful attempts to resolve outstanding payments with Sizwe Hosmed, we are unfortunately left with no choice but to treat all Sizwe Hosmed patients as private patients. This means that patients will be required to pay for their consultations and claim the amount back from their medical aid.

Reminder for tonight's meeting.

We want to make sure that the quality of our WhatsApp consultations do not lag behind and end up compromising care. With that in mind we envision making copy and paste bullet point questions kind of in the same vein as conducting a poll but with multiple red flag symptoms as the options to choose from. This will help with many of our patients who struggle with texting elaborate messages who can then simply tap the symptoms that are relevant and it will help us to identify red flag symptoms and act accordingly. However we don't know where to begin and we are willing to pay good money if someone knowledgeable with programming and integrating systems into WhatsApp can help us set something like this up. Please WhatsApp us on the surgery number if you are interested.

As most know Helene runs our Chronic Medicine Clinic. She is in charge of making sure that your Chronic Medicine is registered and that you receive your medicine every month.

She helps with:
Chronic Registration
Chronic Bloods
Chronic Medicine Courier queries.
Insulin Tapering
New 6 month repeat prescription.
Vitals checked: HGT (Sugar), BP ( Blood Pressure) and Urine testing.

Video 4 of Losing weight without Ozempic will feature next week Monday. Dr Swanepoel will start with taking his weight/hight measures. Dr Megan Koffie (behind the scenes) will be assisting Dr Swanepoel with his journey.

Dr Koffie have sponsored her time to assist with free weight loss consultation, limited to two patients a day.
