Did you know your daughter’s first period can happen earlier than you expect? 🌼

And the scary part isn’t the period… it’s the surprise — the “Mom, what is happening?!” moment (often at school).

Somewhere between “she’s still my baby” and “WHY is she crying because her socks feel weird” … puberty arrives 😂

Hormones are doing the most, emotions are loud, and nobody feels fully prepared.

That’s why I created Daisy Period Talks through Ebb & Flow: gentle, age-appropriate menarche education that helps girls feel calm, confident, and prepared — and helps moms feel more confident having the conversation before it becomes a panic moment.

This isn’t a medical lecture. It’s a real, reassuring chat — with practical tools, simple language, and lots of “you’re normal, you’re safe.”

My hormones are throwing a party and I didn’t RSVP.

Everything feels louder, heavier, and more annoying than it should — even if nothing “big” is happening.

I might be snappy, teary, tired, bloated, sore, or just totally overwhelmed… and honestly, I’m still learning what it all means and how to handle it.

I’m not trying to be difficult or disrespectful — I’m trying to cope in a body that suddenly has new rules.

So if I’m acting a little “extra”… please don’t take it personally.

Please don’t lecture me.
Please don’t push me to talk right now.

✨ Tomorrow marks the first day of school… and a beautiful new beginning for our daughters. ✨

As backpacks are packed and new routines begin, I want to gently remind parents and schools that this is also a powerful time to prepare our girls for one of the most important milestones of their lives — menarche, their first cycle.

Menarche is not something to fear, hide, or rush through.
It is a rite of passage — a moment that deserves understanding, dignity, and loving guidance.

Through my Menarche Guidance sessions, I support young girls to:
🌸 Understand what is happening in their bodies
🌸 Feel confident and informed before their first cycle begins
🌸 Ask questions in a safe, age-appropriate space
🌸 Connect to their bodies with respect instead of shame

I currently offer:
• Private mother–daughter sessions
• Small group circles
• School-based Menarche Guidance programmes

The start of the school year is the perfect time to book — calendars fill quickly and I limit numbers to keep these spaces gentle, personal and meaningful.

Here, we slow down. We share our experiences, our lessons, our stories, and our strength. We recognise the value of coming together across ages and backgrounds, and we honour the different seasons each woman may be walking through.
