I am a great sleeper, a habit that I am very grateful for. However when I get one of those nights on the rare occasion when I don’t sleep well… which can then ripple into two nights - because now my circadian cycle has taken a bit of a knock.
I become rather useless during the day - I do not function properly on less than 6 hours sleep.
So this afternoon, I spent some time feeling my feet on the sand, and the cold water on my toes….
A blissful moment to ground me, and to discharge the lack of sleep from my body.
