Fine and Country Hermanus generously donated 2 VIP tickets plus gift hampers to the opera Tristan und Isolde at the Roadhouse Theatre in Hermanus to Overstrand Hospice to raffle. Wihan Brink, (left) representing did the draw with Fran Tong, (right) General Manager, Overstrand Hospice. The lucky winner was Maddie from Hermanus.
We want to thank as well as everyone who supported the raffle. Your contributions assist us in sustaining free palliative care service to patients diagnosed with a life- threatening
illness and support to their families.

Overstrand Hospice celebrates World Social Worker’s day!!
Join us in acknowledging and appreciating the contribution of our social worker, Esther Naudé, for her compassion, professionalism and dedication to our patients and their families. Psychosocial services are integral to the provision of quality palliative care, through the progression of a life-threatening illness and after the death of a loved one. Pearly Beach Cancer walk 15 Febuary 2026.

For the 5th year in a row, Colleen de K**k and her team organised a 5km walk in Pearly Beach to raise awareness of Cancer.
This amazing group raised a stunning amount of R50 000 with more than 300 participants. The amount raised was distributed to five beneficiaries of which Overstrand Hospice was privileged to be one.
Fran Tong, General manager, Overstrand Hospice, Suzette Botha, fundraiser as well as Elene van Rensburg, volunteer, participated in this feel good and gratifying experience. We thank Colleen and her team for choosing Overstrand Hospice as a beneficiary and their selfless efforts in making this a very special event.
