Thank you Overstrand Community!
On behalf of our board of Directors, staff and patients, we want to thank every member of the public, as well as local businesses and volunteers for their overwhelming support of the Pink Trees for Pauline Cancer Awareness drive. This was the first one of it's kind driven by Overstrand Hospice and we have no doubt that it will grow from strength to strength every year!
Should you want to recycle your fabric, you are welcome to drop off at our Hospice shop where it will be distributed to other charitable organizations.

The health and safety of our staff, volunteers and clients are our priority! Jaco Stemmett and his team from Hermanus Fire Brigade gave the staff training in terms of how to cope should a fire occur. It was insightful and added a lot of value. Thank you Jaco and your team!

Voices for Hospice is a wave of concerts around the world, that takes place every 2 years on World Hospice and Palliative Care day. Bevan Sylvester directed the Voices for Hospice for Overstrand Hospice at the United Church on 12 October.
Through music and song , this heartwarming event brought a tear to many of us. It was performed by wonderful local talent. A special thank you to Bevan and his team of artists who sacrificed their time for Hospice. The artists were Gillian Francis, Corniel Calitz, Pieter Oberholzer,Tish morgan, Mthetho Mapoyi, Kobus van Wyk and Colin Watson.
