Avid Brands S.A (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned company based in South Africa with offices in Hillcrest, Durban and Spartan, Johannesburg. Registered with the MCC (Medicines Control Council) as a pharmaceutical manufacturer, Avid Brands markets and sells over 200 products (under 20 brands) in the health care (OTC) and consumer markets. Products are sold and distributed through pharmacy, retail and trade outlets throughout Southern Africa. Avid Brands does not test its products or ingredients on animals, nor support any company or organisation that does test its products or ingredients on animals.
