Most of us are walking around with too little magnesium – the mineral that keeps our energy steady, nerves calm, heart beating smoothly, and bones strong.

Low levels can show up as:
• Muscle cramps and restless sleep
• Anxiety, stress, and migraines
• Irregular heartbeat or high blood pressure
• Tingling, numbness, or even neuropathy over time

The good news? It’s simple to turn this around.
• Leafy greens, nuts and seeds, dark chocolate, avocado, and fatty fish are all rich in magnesium
• In some cases, supplements can help too – especially when paired with vitamin D and mindful lifestyle practices like yoga, breathwork, and restorative sleep

Think of magnesium as a bridge between your body’s nutrition and your nervous system’s resilience.

There’s so much more to this story – including a day of magnesium-rich meal ideas, supplement guidance, and a TCM-inspired perspective.

✨ Sharing kindness is the way to a happy heart. ✨

Kindness is more than a gentle gesture - it’s a biochemical gift. When you give, receive, or even simply observe an act of kindness, your brain and body respond:

Dopamine - the “feel-good” neurotransmitter - creates what’s often called the helper’s high, lifting your mood and giving a natural sense of reward.
Oxytocin - the hormone of bonding and trust - rises through moments of connection, softening stress and deepening relationships.

Kindness nourishes both heart and nervous system, weaving together science and soul. It’s a simple yet profound way to cultivate wellbeing, resilience, and joy.

Today, notice:
🌱 one act of kindness you can offer,
🌱 one moment of kindness you can receive,
🌱 one expression of kindness you can observe.

Each is a doorway to a healthier, happier heart.

I have generated a dopamine tracker that you are welcome to reference on my website. Link in bio.

Have you heard of the vagus nerve?
If you’ve been feeling anxious, flat, foggy, tense, or stuck in stress mode — your vagus nerve could be the missing link.

It’s the body’s reset switch, influencing your mood, digestion, sleep, and resilience.
When it’s out of balance, you may feel constantly “on edge” or disconnected.

In my latest blog, I share:
✨ What the vagus nerve is (and why it matters)
✨ How to spot signs of imbalance
✨ Simple ways to tone and support it through somatic movement, breath, mindfulness, and bodywork

It’s been just over a year since I made the choice to live alcohol-free—and the shifts have been deeper than I ever imagined.

My energy has lifted.
My sleep is more restorative.
My skin feels clearer and more alive.
My thoughts feel sharper, my emotions more steady.
And perhaps most importantly, I’ve built a deeper trust in myself—my ability to cope, to process, to move through life with more calm presence.

After walking through illness and rebuilding my wellness from the inside out, I know just how essential clarity, rest, and self-connection truly are. Choosing to let go of alcohol was a big part of that. It wasn’t about restriction—it was about choosing what I wanted more of.

Over the past year, I’ve also had the privilege of consulting at an addictions clinic as an embodiment and movement specialist—supporting individuals in cultivating tools to lean into instead of self-medicating. In this work, I integrate aspects of yoga, mindfulness, and pranayama to help people reconnect to their bodies, calm their nervous systems, and access more peace from within.

If you’re navigating a similar path—whether it’s cutting back, breaking habits, or simply longing to feel more clear, more grounded, more you—I want you to know that I see you. I’ve been there. And I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Whether you’re looking to reduce alcohol, shift a pattern that doesn’t serve you, or reconnect to your body, your breath, your peace—I can support you in your wellness journey.

Reach out if you need a guide, a cheerleader, or a safe space to begin.

With warmth and steady breath,
Claire 🤍

I’m Claire—mother, cancer survivor, and wellness practitioner. I know what it’s like to feel disconnected from your body after heartbreak, illness, or the quiet weight of grief. When my marriage ended, when I was healing from cancer, when I was holding deep personal loss—it was bodywork, coaching, and weekly embodiment practices that helped me find my way back.

Now I guide others to do the same.

I offer integrative massage, reflexology, and yoga-based practices that support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep reconnection. Whether you’re moving through burnout, hormonal shifts, recovery, or simply needing to exhale—my sessions are intuitive, personalised, and rooted in real care.

I live what I teach. I’m always learning, always growing, and here to walk beside you—wherever you are.

What is your gut trying to tell you?
Loose stools, constipation, urgency after meals — these aren’t just annoying symptoms. They’re messages from the body. In both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, these patterns often reflect deeper imbalances in the gut, nervous system, and emotional body.

In my latest blog, I explore:
• What’s considered normal digestion
• Causes of irregular bowel movements (from IBS to bile imbalance)
• How TCM views gut health through the lens of energy and organ systems
• Gentle ways to support your system through reflexology, yoga, mindfulness and meridian-based bodywork

If you’ve been feeling “off” in your belly, this piece is for you.
