Don’t get lost in the dark and lonely world of hearing loss. I can show you that it is possible to hear the sounds that you have been missing.

I am a qualified Hearing Aid Acoustician (Pretoria University) with 8 years of experience working in the hearing health care industry and specialising in hearing aids. I offer professional hearing care at an affordable price. I graduated from Rhodes University with a degree in Psychology, and I am passionate about people. I am caring and empathetic and my main goal is to improve my patients’ quality of life, by improving their ability to communicate with those around them.

Kate Butlin Hearing Solutions is my own private practice and I have consulting rooms in Pietermaritzburg and Howick, I have a mobile audiometer for house calls, and I conduct regular hearing clinics at all of the Amber retirement and lifestyle villages.

I am registered with the Health Professions Council of Southern Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Speech Language and Hearing Association (SASLHA).
