There is something nostalgic about a 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗽𝗶𝘁. The digging, the building, the messy hands and loud laughter. For many of us, that is what childhood looked like. And it is what childhood should look like. Sand supports creativity, movement and development. The concern however begins when sandpits are 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 or 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱.
