MEET THE TEAM - Reggie ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Reggie has been at Function Fit since the opening of the Howick premises. As our in house personal trainer, Reggie is a familiar face to all who come to the gym.

โ€œI originally come from Empangeni and still have a home there. I worked at a gym in Pietermaritzburg before moving to Function Fit SA when it opened in Howick.

I have a personal trainers certificate and a spinning instructors certificate. My passion for helping people to get fit and to be in the gym is what made me want to get these certificates.

This year I have started to run early morning classes at the Function Fit gym and would love to see even more people joining these so we can get fit together ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผโ€

MEET THE TEAM: Morne ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

"I am a registered biokineticist, having obtained my BSc Honours in Biokinetics at the University of Zululand. I completed my internship in Rivonia, Johannesburg, and continued to live and work there for 8 years before moving to the Hilton/Howick area in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. I have been practicing Biokinetics in the Hilton/Howick area for the past 12 years. My passion for helping people is what initially drew me to this line of work; and combined with my love for fitness and exercise, prompted me to begin Function Fit SA.

At Function Fit people are able to benefit one on one by booking a biokinetics assessment and/or follow up sessions with me for exercise prescription. They are also able to simply join the gym, which has specifically been set up as a functional and friendly space where they can work on their rehabilitation journey individually, or as part of the functional cross-training classes that I offer. It is crucial for me that all of my clients have somewhere that they are able to safely and confidently work on their rehab; as well as have the added benefit of exercising with like-minded people. My goal for every one of my clients is to meet them where they are at, but to help them to develop and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. It has always been a dream to not only provide that foundation, but also a place where people can commit to the process required to get them to where they want to be. It's an inclusive community, where I truly believe that people can thrive. Its a space that I am very proud of."

We want to reassure clients that we will be thoroughly cleaning all equipment after each use, as well as asking you to each bring in your own towel when you come in for your session and make full use of the hand wash provided, as we will also be doing. โ
