Tuesday Tip! I am so chuffed with the progress of the canoeists this year so far. With 6 weeks until selection we have achieved many goals. This has been an amazing opportunity and learning platform for me to get into the sports nutrition side of dietetics.
The most important thing I have realized is to ALWAYS start with a baseline to measure improvement from. If you do not have a baseline then measuring improvements is a challenge. I have placed special focus on "before and after training snacks". The fat percentage loss of each athlete has been amazing with just fine tuning and making small simple changes.
All in all, book your body composition analysis to measure your baseline and track your goals.
I am moving my consulting area to the Hilton Health Center to join up with Innovative Dieticians. Book a session (R300 for body composition assessment and R200 for a follow up assessment- medical aid rates are charged). Innovative Dietitians Hilton Health - Partnering in Healthcare
