At Megan Auby Speech Therapy & Audiology we believe **every child deserves a voice** — whether that’s spoken, signed, or supported through AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).

AAC isn’t “replacing” speech — it’s supporting communication, connection, and confidence. When we give children tools to express themselves, we open the door to learning, relationships, and joy 💛

About the therapist

Megan Auby qualified with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Therapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2014 and completed her community service year at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital in 2015. She continued working at Baragwanath Hospital for two more years. It was during her time at Baragwanath Hospital that she discovered her passion for working with children. The last 2 years, Megan has been working at a private practice in Alberton; it was then that she realised she wanted a practice of her own and opened up Megan Auby Speech Therapy and Audiology. Megan has studied further and in 2017 completed the LSLSA training for working in the field of Auditory Verbal Therapy for children with hearing loss (University of Stellenbosch). She is also registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), and South African Cochlear Implant Group (SACIG).
