For Kalafong Hospital, the stakes couldn’t be higher. The newly installed UPS will serve as the primary backup power source for the hospital’s operating theatres, guaranteeing uninterrupted electricity during surgeries, emergencies, and life-support procedures. In the event of a power outage, the system is capable of delivering between 2 and 4 hours of continuous power (depending on the load). That buffer is not simply a technical specification, it is time that saves lives.
