• Enables schemes to share liability for exceptional claims
• Enhances access to essential care while protecting solvency
• Strengthens healthcare resilience across South Africa and the SADC region

This initiative marks a strategic shift — placing equity, sustainability, and patient outcomes at the centre of funding decisions.

Thank you to the funders, regulators, clinicians, patient voices, actuaries, and partners who shaped today’s discussions. Together, we are reimagining what’s possible in healthcare.
