It might sound funny, but farting after surgery is an important milestone! 🎉Anesthesia and pain meds can slow the gut, so passing gas shows digestion is restarting, relieves bloating, and helps prevent complications. 🙌💨

✅ 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀:
Signals recovery of gut function – it shows that digestion is restarting.
Relieves discomfort – trapped gas can cause painful bloating and pressure.

👶 SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), formerly known as cot death, is the sudden, unexplained death of a healthy baby, usually during sleep. While the cause isn’t fully understood, safe sleep practices can lower the risk.

✅ 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀:
Always place your baby on their back or side🛏️
Use a firm mattress, no loose blankets
Keep the sleep space smoke-free 🚭
Room-share (not bed-share) for 6–12 months
Avoid overheating, dress baby in light sleepwear 🌡️

✨ Every nap and bedtime is a chance to protect your little one.

💡 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄?

Babies’ heads can become misshapen or flat (positional plagiocephaly) when they lie in one position for too long. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚! 🙌

🍼 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽:
👉Side sleeping is very important. Remember to use a baby wedge so your little one can’t roll onto their tummy as they can accidentally suffocate. 🩵
👶 Gently rotate your baby between the left and right sides during sleep and awake times.
🧸 Give your baby supervised tummy time while awake.
💤 Alternate which end of the cot your baby sleeps on.

These small changes can help your baby’s head grow evenly and beautifully 💗
