Caylin Goodchild

Caylin completed her MSc degree in Dietetics at the North-West University. During her training she worked at various hospitals and clinics in the North-West and later in Mpumalanga. Her Masters degree involved pregnant women and their morbidity symptoms associated with iron intake. She completed post-graduate modules in Sports Nutrition, Advanced Nutrition and Paediatric Critical Care. Caylin is currently enrolled for her PhD which will look at morbidity symptoms displayed in infants.

Whilst studying, Caylin qualified as an anthropometric technician with the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK). Caylin was also involved as a reviewer for Practice-based Evidence in Nutrition (PEN), affiliated with Dietitians of Canada and the Dietitians Association of Australia. She is currently registered with the Association for Dietetics in South Africa (ADSA) and the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She is also part of the executive committee (2019-2021) of ADSA and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
