Our day started at 2:00 AM today. We hit the road early to be in Secunda by 5:00 AM to reach N, a 41-year-old battling a severe crystal m**h addiction.
​The situation was heartbreaking. The addiction had pushed N into a full drug-induced psychosis, leading him to completely destroy his childhood family home. We have seen a lot, but seeing a home and yard turned into what looked like a dumping ground was a stark reminder of how destructive this disease is.
​We responded as quickly as possible after his siblings reached out. N is now with us, and the long road to healing begins now, firstly at the Psych ward and then we will transfer him to our men's facility
