SASOM CONFERENCE & AGM 2025

Dear ESSA Community

The South African Society for Occupational Medicine (SASOM) National Office will be hosting its conference and AGM on the 15th of November 2025 in collaboration with the Global Coalition on Informal Workers’ Health, Safety and Wellbeing (GCIW), and the Ergonomics Society of South Africa (ESSA).

Theme: “Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Crossroads of Informal Work and Public Health: Risks, Innovations, and Responsibilities”

Format: Hybrid (in person and online)

Venue: Marriott Hotel Fire & Ice, Menlyn, Pretoria, South Africa

Date: Saturday, 15 November 2025

Cost: SASOM has kindly offered ESSA members who register to attend the conference (in-presence or virtually) the same conference fee which it charges its members, as indicated below:
