SARCDA started off as a Pharmacy Exhibition in the 1960's, when pharmacies ventured into the gift-line.

SARCDA Trade Exhibitions are the premier Toy, Gift and Décor retail exhibitions in South Africa, held annually in August and March at Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand. SARCDA has grown from strength to strength over the past 55 years
With more than 55 years of consecutive annual exhibition experience, SARCDA Trade Exhibitions offers all exhibitors the benefits of two highly professional, well-organized, and cost-effective Trade Exhibitions, held at Gallagher Estate, Midrand, Johannesburg. SARCDA used to be an acronym for the South African Retail and Chemists Druggist Association. It is now an independent trade name offering fully-fledged Gift, Toy and Décor Trade Exhibitions to service the needs of the entire retail, gift, toy and décor industries. The heritage of SARCDA includes its experience, knowledge and traditions. Our exhibitors have had a highly profitable association and have grown with us over the past three decades. Two annual Retail Trade Exhibitions
Traditionally, SARCDA organises two Gift, Toy and Décor Trade Exhibitions annually:

SARCDA Africa - Held at Gallagher Convention Centre, Gauteng, in March
SARCDA Christmas - Held at Gallagher Convention Centre, Gauteng, in August

SARCDA is proud of its position as the largest Trade Exhibition of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere; attracting as many as 400 Exhibitors and almost 6800 Trade Visitors annually
