Important change within our dental team at Dentistry By Design.

After much consideration, Dr Chris Traut, our principal dentist, has decided to cut back on his clinical hours to free up the time needed to pursue new professional, teaching and academic opportunities. His last day of full-time clinical practice at Dentistry By Design will be 16 December 2025. Thereafter he will continue to render services at the practice on a sessional basis to his existing patients.

Dr Traut will not be taking on any new patients going forward, with exceptions being made for clients who have recently received, but not initiated, their treatment plans. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr Traut for his years of dedication, professionalism, and commitment to providing high-quality dental care. His contribution to the growth and reputation of our practice has been immense; we wish him all of the best as he embarks into this new phase of his career.

We are also very pleased to announce that the leadership of the practice will continue under the capable hands of Dr Nikita Morar, who will be joining Dentistry By Design as our new resident Dentist. Dr Morar brings with her a wealth of excellent clinical skills, experience, and a warm, patient-centered approach to dentistry. We are confident that she will integrate seamlessly into our practice and continue our commitment to delivering the highest standard of care.

As we transition between clinicians, please be assured that our priority remains your comfort, satisfaction, and oral health. Your existing treatment plans, records, and appointments will remain secure, and we will make every effort to ensure a smooth and seamless transition of care between Dr Traut and Dr Morar.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, or if you would like to schedule an appointment with Dr Morar or discuss your ongoing treatment with us, please do not hesitate to contact the practice. Our team is here to support you and address any queries you may have.
