I presented a workshop for social work colleagues on the topic of Adult Children of Alcoholics and Co-depency. An example of a spontaneous improvisation - the song "As long as he needs me" from the musical film "Oliver". The song is sung by Nancy, girlfriends of Bill Sykes who is a villain in the film - not only does he mostly ignore her but eventually murders her. I feel this action ties in with the enormous amount of gender-based violence (GBV) and femicide in South African society

My practice is situated in a quiet Johannesburg neighbourhood and I respond to inquiries on my page in 1 day 3 hrs or less
During the time people are confined to their homes I conduct counselling via email, Google Hangouts, Skype and text
To add more value I consult after hours, in the evenings and on Sundays, in order to accommodate clients' work obligations and don’t take notes during client sessions but rather let their history unfold naturally in the course of the conversation

Without losing focus on these key areas, we’ve expanded our service offering to include: Anger Management, Individual, Couple and Family Counselling, Career and Life Coaching, Parental Guidance to divorcing couples, Stress Management, Supervision, Consultation and Training Workshops to Colleagues and Students, Computer Training for Seniors and Creating Social Network Profiles for colleagues.
My professional experience spans a little over forty years; 29 years in private practice Specialities Adult Children of Alcoholics Stroke survivors and their loved ones and have recommendations on my page, Google My Business and Linkedin
I use short-term, solution-focused, structured, easy- to- remember acronyms and questionnaires to provide individual clients and organisations with practical, relevant, easily accessible tools for daily living.
