Across South Africa, women dressed in black are raising their voices through the Women For Change movement, demanding justice, accountability, and real protection from gender-based violence.

“We wear black to mourn the lives lost, and to remind the nation that silence is not strength.”

The protest calls for urgent action against femicide and support for survivors through safe spaces, education, and reform.

Mogale City is facing a rise in robberies, hijackings, and assaults, and ACDP Cllr Lydia Lebesa is speaking out.
She invited BAAGI News to help raise awareness and rally communities to reclaim their safety.

“Families are living in fear. That’s not the Mogale City we want,” she said.

Cllr Lebesa urges residents to work with police, support community patrols, and push for stronger municipal safety measures.

Throwback: Mogale City was out in Ward 8 for a powerful visibility drive, connecting with the community, sharing the ACDP vision, and standing for faith, family, and freedom. 💙🇿🇦

Every conversation, every handshake, and every smile reminded us why we serve, to build a better South Africa together! 🙌

The ACDP notes that South Africa's TB response reflects collaboration between the Department of Health, the National Institute for Communicable Diseases, and the National Health Laboratory Service, aiming to reduce TB incidence and mortality by 2035, with a target of testing some 5 million people annually. This ambition is technologically bold, yet institutionally fragile. Clearly, the relaunch of Parliament's TB caucus must confront entrenched failures in oversight, funding, transparency and rural health equity. The ACDP welcomes the Minister's recent launch of a near-live TB dashboard to track provincial testing and mortality data. However, we note that it mirrors the electronic vaccination data system from which relevant departments failed to extract lessons on data integrity and rural service gaps.

The ACDP is aware that Parliament's TB Caucus, aligned with the Global TB Caucus, seeks to mobilise MPs in advocacy, yet its voluntary nature and lack of implementation teeth risk rendering it symbolic. The ACDP agrees that, regrettably, there has not been an adequate interrogation of provincial disparities in TB outcomes, especially in under-resourced districts. Critics continue to call for performance-linked funding, auditable health metrics, and enforceable provincial accountability, none of which are embedded in the caucus's relaunch.

Additionally, public commentary has questioned the silence on TB-related corruption and the absence of whistleblower protection in health oversight legislation. As kingdom builders, The ACDP commits to fighting the spread of tuberculosis, but cautions against government overreach, like we saw with the irrational and some would say illegal COVID mandates.

We must ensure that medical interventions to fight TB, like the promising M72 vaccine, must continue to go through the vigorous scientific, medical and peer review processes, unlike the interventions used under emergency authorization during COVID.

ACDP Mogale City at the Public Hearing on the Marriage Bill

Today, we are at the Mogale City Centenary Hall attending a public hearing on the proposed Marriage Bill. We are grateful for the opportunity to voice our concerns on this important issue.

We unequivocally reject the bill in its entirety as it stands, primarily because it contradicts the biblical principles that guide the sanctity of marriage. As believers, we stand firm in our conviction that marriage should be defined according to God’s Word, and this bill undermines the traditional, biblical understanding of marriage.

We remain committed to defending the values that have sustained families and communities for generations. Thank you for allowing us to participate in this crucial conversation.

ACDP Mogale City at the ACDP Strategy Planning Session

What an incredible experience for ACDP Mogale City as we attended the ACDP Strategy Planning session at The Dome in Claremont! 🙌

We were truly blessed with inspiring moments, as our President, Rev Kenneth Meshoe, shared his profound wisdom, guiding us on the path forward for our party and the nation. 🙏

A special thank you to our Provincial Leader, Bishop Dulton Adams, for his unwavering leadership and vision that continues to strengthen the ACDP. Your dedication motivates us all!

We also had the privilege of listening to an outstanding presentation by Professor Sam Ndoga, who provided valuable insights into strategy and growth.

We are excited about the journey ahead and remain committed to serving our communities with integrity and purpose.
