You have worked hard all year (or since bikini season started π) on your body results, now everywhere you look, you see temptations
Believe me, I get it!
But there is a few simple βtricksβ you can do to help keep a handle on the holiday bulge:
π Have your protein smoothie every morning before breakfast, yes, even if you are having a family breakfast or brunch, it will prevent you from over eating & you will actually make better menu choices. I LOVE having my F1 Vanilla smoothie every day - tastes like ice-cream! π¦
πDrink before you eat π Iβm talking about water (can be sparkling) what drink did you think I mean?
Often you are dehydrated, more than hungry, but your brain canβt tell the difference, so drink up! (Water, neh π¦)
Also, having a glass of water between your drinks can easily cut your liquid calories in half, as you will drink less alcoholic beverages than normal

Yip! It βtrapsβ the bad fats you consume & it keeps the water you drank in your system

π Exercise? Over the holidays? YESSS!!!
Exercise is perfect to counterbalance the year and the holiday stress
It is good for your mental health & will burn some extra calories
Do you need to hit the gym? NO!
Just put on your tekkies & take a walk through the neighborhood, if you are in a different area it is the perfect way to see some scenery!
π Be sure to get 7-8hrs of sleep
Yes, sleep has a MAJOR role on your weight & how your body deals with stress. You can never βcatch upβ on lost sleep, but you can give your body rest to restore
Do you know that sleep deprivation is as dangerous if not more than drunk driving? So hit that snooze button! π΄
