C-section mamas, this is why you’re still exhausted:

- You had major surgery
A C-section isn’t “just birth.” It’s abdominal surgery, and your body is using massive energy to repair layers of tissue.

- Hormones are crashing and resetting
Postpartum hormone shifts affect your energy, mood, and sleep. Fatigue is part of this adjustment phase.

- Your body is actively healing
Healing your incision, uterus, and muscles happens mostly on the inside—quietly draining your strength.

- Sleep is broken and scarce
Newborn care + night feeds + discomfort = little real rest, even when you “sleep.”

Bottom line:
Your exhaustion is real, valid, and expected. Healing takes time. Be gentle with your body—it’s doing hard work 🤍

👶 10 cm and Counting: The Powerful Moment of Birth

When your cervix reaches 10 cm dilated, your body sends a powerful, natural signal: the urge to push. This is the transition from labor to delivery — the moment you meet your baby is near!

What Happens at 10 cm:

· ✅ Cervix is fully open – Baby can now move through the birth canal.
· 💪 Overwhelming urge to push – Often described as an uncontrollable, primal sensation.
· 👶 Baby descends – With each push, baby moves closer to birth.
· 🕒 Pushing phase begins – This stage can last from minutes to a few hours.

You’ve Got This, Mama:

· Trust your body – it knows what to do.
· Listen to your care team – they’ll guide your breathing and pushing.
· Stay focused and calm – you are strong, capable, and so close to meeting your little one.

This is one of the most powerful moments of your life. You are bringing new life into the world. 💕

👶 10 FACTS ABOUT BABY IN THE WOMB

1️⃣ Heartbeat starts early

The baby’s heart begins beating around 5–6 weeks of pregnancy.

2️⃣ Baby can move

Tiny movements, stretches, and kicks start as early as 7–8 weeks, though you may feel them later.

3️⃣ Fingers and toes develop

By the 8th week, tiny fingers and toes begin forming.

4️⃣ Senses begin developing

By the second trimester, the baby can hear sounds and respond to light.

5️⃣ Swallowing and breathing practice

The fetus practices swallowing amniotic fluid and making breathing motions before birth.

6️⃣ Rapid brain growth

Millions of neurons form every day to prepare for life outside the womb.

7️⃣ Taste buds form

The baby can sense flavors from the amniotic fluid.

8️⃣ Sleep and wake cycles

Even in the womb, the baby has periods of activity and rest.

9️⃣ Can recognize mom’s voice

By the third trimester, babies respond to familiar voices and sounds.

🔟 Growth is exponential

From a tiny embryo to a fully formed baby, size and complexity increase dramatically each week.

💗 Every week, your baby is learning, growing, and preparing for life outside the womb—a true miracle.
