In the 1800s, it often meant wearing someone else’s teeth! Before modern porcelain, the elite wore “Waterloo Teeth” which were real teeth scavenged from fallen soldiers 😮 ⚔️

The Facts:

• The Harvest: After the Battle of Waterloo (1815), scavengers pulled thousands of teeth to sell to dentists🦷🛠️

• The Status: Because they came from young soldiers, they were a high-end luxury compared to carved ivory💎

Following the success of our first case two weeks ago, we’ve hit the ground running to ensure that high-quality dental care remains accessible to those who need it most.

For this case, our Non-Profit Organisation was once again able to assist with the hospital co-payments, allowing the medical team to focus on providing the best possible care for this wonderful patient🏥🤝

The Power of Consistency 💡
Our goal is to make this a regular reality. We are officially aiming to complete one Non-Profit case every single month, bridging the gap for patients who face financial barriers to essential dental surgery🦷🕊️

We are incredibly proud to share the progress of our first official case through our Non-Profit Organisation! 🏥🫶

This patient joined us for a life-changing procedure where we successfully placed his dental implants

This is just the beginning of his journey. We are now in the healing phase, allowing the implants to integrate perfectly.

Once healed, our team will move to the final stage: creating and fitting a custom, implant-supported denture to restore his full smile and confidence🥹

Beyond the clinical work, our Non-Profit Organisation stepped in to cover the hospital bill co-payments 💳

This ensures that financial barriers do not stand in the way of our patient’s health and comfort.
