AGAPE Family LIFE Centre Agape is a registered Treatment Centre offering effective treatment and support to families affected The first two months we focus on spirituality & program.

We assist the individual that comes into our program first by teaching them a program and impartins spiritual values into these people’s lives. Spirituality - Basically our mission is to get the individual to regain their relationship with a God of their understanding. We believe that spirituality is an essential part of an indivuals recovery process. Our Program - evidence based and has been proven that it fits AN ordinary human being who struggles to read and write. WE WORK ON 3 CHARACTERISTICS.

1. Thinking - An Individual that has been abusing drugs for years has adapted one way of thinking , and that is to lie and steal and do whatever it takes to get to their next fix. We try and help improve their thinking by our lectures on addiction and how to maintain sobriety.

2. Emotions – Through the years of addiction the individual has been through a lot of challenges and a lot of pain. The individual uses drugs to suppress the feeling. Now when the drug gets taken away we have to find a replacement, therefore we do an emotional intervention. This is we and the Social Workers or Psychologist comes need to deal with family and individual sessions.

3. Behaviour – After we have dealt with the mental and emotional state of the client it becomes easy to address the behavior of the individual. Certain tools needs to be put in place, in order for the recovery process to take place, the client is now clean of drugs and now his behavioral pattern automatically has to change. The third month we either find employment or develop their skills pending their circumstances E.G children. Employment – Once a client has found employment he now learns to cope in the real world under the auspices of us. We teach him the importance of handling finances. The Client has to cater for himself where he learns to become a responsible individual. Client also has the option of moving into our half way house. We are very passionate about restoring individuals who have lost their souls to drug addiction and believe it is our purpose (calling) to uplift each and every individual who cries out for help. This passion was the main motivation for starting this organization.
