Once someone has deliberately betrayed your trust once, they’ll continue to betray you time and time again if you give them the opportunity; because that’s who they really are…

You don’t need to drink the entire ocean to realise it’s salty!

You don’t need to keep giving endless chances to someone who has already shown you their true colours.

Betrayal is a choice, not a mistake!

A person who values you will protect and cherish your trust, not shatter it into a million pieces.

The moment that someone betrays you or your trust, they’re making a statement that your feelings are secondary to their desires.

And forgetting this, is a luxury you cannot afford!

Some people only apologise just to regain access to your life, not because they’ve changed.

If someone doesn't value keeping your trust; let them go, protect your peace, and walk away with your dignity intact.

The right people who are genuine in their intentions towards you will never put you in a position where you have to question their loyalty and motives, but more importantly they'll never place themselves in a position that risks losing you forever by betraying your trust in the first place.
