My full maiden names are Susanna Elizabeth de Bruyn — the name under which I qualified with my MBChB. Friends and family call me Liza. I only officially became Dr. Theunissen in 2016 after marrying my husband, Jimmy. 💍

I’ve now been a GP for 7 years, and what an incredible journey it’s been! 💙

Besides being a full-time doctor and business owner, I’m also a proud mom of three beautiful, talented kids who keep life busy and full of joy. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

When I do get a moment to myself, I love to crochet, paint, colour, sing, and play guitar. 🎨🎶💪

🌍 Fun fact: I’ve been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places — Namibia, Botswana, Ireland, Seychelles, Argentina, Germany, Poland, and Australia! Each country has left its own mark on my heart. ✈️💫
