So, you’ve been told you have flat feet… but is it really a problem? Instead of rushing to get orthotics, taping, or hard arch supports, let’s stop and think for a moment.

🔎 Most “flat foot” diagnoses are based on looks, not on how the foot actually works.

In reality, true flat feet mean that all three arches in the foot collapse, usually with a loss of control—not just a low-looking arch.

SPORT ◾ Al ses atlete van Klerksdorp wat in die SA-span ingesluit is wat in Eswatini aan die Cossasa-spele deelgeneem het, het goue medaljes gewen.

Meer as 1 000 atlete in die o13 tot o17 ouderdomsgroep van sewe lande in Suider-Afrika het in Eswatini saamgetrek vir die byeenkoms. Twee leerlinge van Laerskool Saamtrek, drie van KHS en een van Wesvalia het deelgeneem. Nog twee Klerksdorpers, Erich Wiese, spiesgooi afrigter, en Monique van Niekerk, biokinetikus, is in die SA bestuurspan ingesluit en het saamgetoer.

Atlete wat eerste by die SA skolebyeenkoms was, is in die SA-span vir die spele ingesluit. Die laerskoolleerlinge, Alto Wigget en Nélike van der Berg het albei in spiesgooi presteer. Alto verwerf die eerste plek met ‘n wenafstand van 54.17m en Nélike met ‘n wen-afstand van 35.27m. Nog twee spiesgooiers, Lehanke Beets (foto) en Stian Zopick, het ook elk ‘n goue medalje gewen. Die vier atlete word deur Wiese afgerig.

Denike Jordaan het twee goue medaljes gewen, in die 400m en medley aflos en Zoey Gracie het goud in verspring gewen en silwer in die 4x100m aflos.

🇿🇦✨ What an incredible honor and privilege to represent South Africa as the official Team Biokineticist at the COSSASA Championships in Eswatini!

So proud to have been part of this journey – not only did Team SA take the overall victory 🏆🇿🇦, but I also had the chance to work alongside amazing athletes, coaches, and staff. Grateful for the support and guidance from management, and for the new friendships made along the way.

A special shoutout to our local Klerksdorp athletes who brought home a total of 9 medals – 8 of them gold! 🥇🔥 Truly outstanding performances that made us all proud.

Here’s to many more opportunities to grow, serve, and celebrate South African Athletics on the international stage! 🙌💚💛

🏉 KHS 1st Team Victory vs Ligbron! 💥
What a game this weekend! 💙 The KHS 1st Rugby Team brought intensity, skill, and heart to the field – and walked away with a well-deserved win over Ligbron.

As the Biokineticist team behind KHS, we’re incredibly proud to be part of their journey – making sure each player recovers well and stays on track for peak performance.

We focus on post-game recovery, managing any injuries, and helping players return stronger week after week.

We are here to support the body behind the game.

🇿🇦 Proudly Representing South Africa at the COSASSA Athletics Championship! 🇿🇦

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been selected as the official Biokineticist for the South African team competing at the 2025 COSASSA Athletics Championship, taking place in Eswatini (Swaziland) from 22–28 August.

Joining the national coaching staff is Erich Wiese, a specialist javelin coach, who has been appointed as an official team coach. His dedication to developing elite athletes continues to elevate local talent onto the national stage.

A huge congratulations to five Klerksdorp-based athletes selected to represent South Africa:

🏅 Nelike van den Berg – Javelin (SA Gold Medalist)
🏅 Alto Wiggett – Javelin (SA Gold Medalist)

All five athletes have received treatment and performance support from Monique van Niekerk Biokineticist, contributing to their readiness for international competition.
