How to prepare before your waxing appointment ✨

Whether it’s for a brow wax or a Hollywood, your prep at home affects the outcome of your wax for a smooth and seamless result 💖

💫 Let your hair grow
Hair should be around ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice) so the wax can grip properly.

🛁 Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before
This helps remove dead skin cells and prevents ingrown hairs. Avoid exfoliating on the day of your appointment.

🚫 Skip oils, lotions & self-tan
Arrive with clean, dry skin so the wax adheres properly.
Leading up to your wax don’t forget to hydrate your skin to avoid skin lifting 🙌🏽

🌸 Avoid heat & sun exposure
No hot baths, saunas, sunbeds, or tanning for at least 24 hours before your wax.

💊 Be mindful of medications
Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, or skin-thinning products for 5–7 days prior (especially for facial waxing).

😌 Time it right
Your skin can be more sensitive during your period, so book accordingly if possible.

✨ Relax & trust the process
The more relaxed you are, the smoother and quicker your appointment will be.
