The 131-bed Netcare Pinehaven Hospital is a partnership between Netcare and empowerment companies Phelang Bonolo Health Care.

Netcare Pinehaven Hospital is supported by highly skilled specialists in a variety of medical disciplines who, together with experienced nursing and support staff and a dynamic management team, are committed to providing exceptional care for patients and their families. The hospital’s key specialities include gynaecology, obstetrics and paediatrics as part of the emphasis it places on the care and treatment of women, babies and children. Another area of focus is orthopaedics, with specialised services including shoulder, hip and knee surgery as well as limb lengthening and shortening procedures. ENT surgery, general surgery and internal medicine are also offered. The hospital has an integrated ICU and high care unit as well as a neonatal ICU in addition to surgical, medical and day wards. Cutting-edge medical technology and equipment has been incorporated throughout. There are also two state-of-the art laminar flow theatres which assist in the highest standards of infection control being maintained. Green principles have been applied in the building design to ensure operational efficiency, and highly advanced technology and systems have been incorporated into the facility to minimise the facility’s environmental footprint and maximise its sustainability.

Beautifully simple and profoundly impactful, Archie’s Archives was created by Tiffini and Richard Hein in honour of their son, Archie, who lived for three precious months after being diagnosed with neonatal Marfan syndrome. 💙 “Reading to Archie brought comfort and bonding during our most difficult days,” says Tiffini.
