A Successful woman entrepreneur has a healthy level of self confidence and believes in her ability and skills.
Self doubt is part of being human, but a confident business woman is able to put these into proper perspective. She does not personalize mistakes or criticism but uses them instead as feedback and opportunities for improvement.

Aside from confidence in yourself as female entrepreneur, also value the opinions of others and seeks help from experts.

You should be confident in your ability to critically analyze other people's input and actively listens to them.

Running a business or heading a corporation involves taking risks. Be willing to move forward, make bold decisions, explore new opportunities, take responsibility and able to analyze mistakes and poor decisions. Learn to see challenges as opportunities to learn, adapt and grow.

Staying healthy in lockdown: How can I boost my immune system while self-isolating?

Approximately 70 percent of your entire immune system is based in your gut so is vital to keep healthy.

Your gut is one of the first entry points for germs, so it’s really important to keep it protected with lots of good bacteria to help ward off harmful bugs.

"Stress, anxiety, lack of sleep and a bad diet can all create an imbalanced gut microbiome, which in turn may lower your immune system.

"So it’s important you look after your wellbeing during these uncertain months, to help fight nasty bugs and maintain a healthy gut.”

Loneliness and social isolation can have negative effects on your immune system, so it is important to do everything you can to keep your mood up during lockdown.

Get plenty of sleep

It's important stay rested and refreshed to help keep your immune system working effectively to fight off bad bacteria

Your daily routine may feel a little out of kilter at the moment, but try to get at least 7 or 8 hours of sleep every night if possible, even if it means going to bed a little earlier!"

Keep active

Exercise can not only improve your physical health but it also makes you feel good.

Physical movement keeps your bowels moving and your immune system strong.

"Exercise is also a known stress reliever and can help you feel happier and healthier during these uncertain times.

"If you don’t have a garden, try clearing a space in your living room and doing some mat exercises, such as yoga or Pilates."

Stay hydrated

staying hydrated is crucial in regulating our body temperature and maintaining many bodily functions.

Keeping hydrated is essential for all aspects of health, including supporting our bodily microbiomes and immune system, ensures that we are naturally flushing out any toxins or ‘bad bugs’ and helps our digestive system to work better."

Diet and supplements

Vitamins are important for immune function, especially vitamin C – find this in broccoli, cauliflower, kale, kiwi, orange juice, papaya, peppers, sweet potato, strawberries, and tomatoes, raw if possible.

"This vitamin is so important for immunity that many people take a supplement during the cold season.

"Vitamin D is another vitamin often deficient when we experience a lack of sunshine.

"Dietary sources include oily fish, eggs, and mushrooms, though again supplements are useful here.

In this time the only thing we are certain of is change. When we come out of this, when we overcome, we will come out different; we are evolving.

Second interview on MassivMetro this year and this time, I’ll be talking about the changes that Covid-19 has brought about and the skills I have used during this time and how people can learn to understand the importance of quarantine.

Walk on this journey of change with me. Let’s be apart of the change for a better future.

Coronavirus (COVID-19): Guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection
It’s very important that you stay at home if you have symptoms that may be caused by COVID-19 or you live with someone that has symptoms. Household isolation will help to control the spread of the virus to friends, the wider community and the most vulnerable.

Follow this advice if you:

have symptoms that may be caused by COVID-19 but don’t need hospital treatment.

live with someone who has symptoms that may be caused by COVID-19.

If you live alone

If you live alone you should stay at home for 7 days from the day your symptoms started. This will reduce the risk of you infecting others.

If you live with others

If you live with others, the person who has symptoms should stay at home for 7 days from the day their symptoms started. All other household members should isolate as a household for 14 days even if they don’t have symptoms themselves. The 14-day period starts from the first day the person had symptoms.

If others develop symptoms within the 14 days, they need to stay at home for 7 days from the day their symptoms started. They should do this even if it takes them over the 14-day isolation period.

If you have children, keep following the self-isolation advice where possible.

What to consider

If you have to isolate as a household:

1, plan ahead and ask others for help to make sure you can stay at home successfully

2, ask your employer, friends, and family to help you get the things you need to stay at home

3, stay at least 2 metres (about 3 steps) away from other people in your home whenever possible sleep alone if possible

3, wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds regularly stay away from the elderly and those with underlying health conditions as much as possible

4, consider whether older people and those with underlying health conditions can stay in another house while you need to stay at home

5, contact essential carers to tell them someone in your household has symptoms, so that they can follow the correct procedures to prevent spread of the infection

6, make sure that you keep in touch with friends and family by phone or through social media
