Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician based in Durban. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing laboratory instruments. Trilab is a SANAS (ISO17025) approved company and offer a wide scope of calibration services primarily within the scope of Mass, Temperature, pressure, RH and spectrophotometry both on-site and in-house calibrations.
Qualifications
• 3 years field service support
• Instrumentation or light current studies.
• Technical skills in installing, maintaining, and repairing laboratory instruments
• Proficiency in diagnosing technical issues and providing on-site customer support
• Ability to train customers on the proper use of laboratory equipment
• Good record-keeping skills for maintaining service activity logs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Driver’s license and the ability to travel
• Proficient computer and Microsoft office skills
