2025 humbled me, stretched me, and taught me one of the biggest lessons of my life…

✨ Rejection isn’t failure — it’s redirection. ✨

This year came with challenges I didn’t expect, plans that fell apart, and moments that truly tested my confidence. But every “no” pushed me closer to what actually aligns with me and my business.

I learned that you must be able to pivot.
You must be willing to shift.
And you must focus on what works instead of forcing what doesn’t.

2025 was tough… but it changed me for the better.

Here’s to redirection, resilience, and trusting the journey.
The comeback will always be stronger than the setback. 💛

It is with great honour that I announce that I am one of the finalists for the Standard Bank Top Woman Awards in the category Business in Health & Pharmaceuticals for 2025.

This recognition means so much more than a title. It reflects the work we’ve been doing to raise awareness in podiatry and foot health. It represents the late nights, the hard days, the tears, the moments of questioning how to navigate this journey and the reminder that business is tough, but passion and purpose make it worth it.

Being acknowledged alongside incredible finalists is an achievement on its own. I may be getting there slowly, and the road may feel long, but my goals are clear and moments like this show that we are moving in the right direction.

Thank you to Standard Bank and Standard Bank Top Woman for this recognition. I am truly honoured to be a finalist for 2025.

This is my “Why” 💙🌟🙏

Becoming a Podiatrist has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. It’s more than a career, it’s a purpose. Every day, I have the privilege of helping people move better, live healthier, and regain confidence in their mobility.

This video shares a bit about my journey, what inspires me, and why I chose to dedicate my life to podiatry. It’s a reminder that when your work aligns with your passion, it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like making a real difference.

I hope it inspires others to reflect on their “why” and the impact they want to have in their own careers.

🌍 World Diabetes Day 2025 🌍

I’ve just returned from an incredible 3 days at the Diabetes Summit, and I’m still reflecting on all the knowledge, passion, and collaboration I witnessed. As a podiatrist, the main message I want to share this World Diabetes Day is simple but powerful: spread education wherever you can—knowledge is power!

Your feet matter. You only get one pair, and they carry you through life every single day. Taking care of them isn’t just about comfort, it’s about health, mobility, and independence. From checking your feet regularly to managing risks associated with diabetes, every small step counts.

I’m reminded that patient education is just as important as treatment. The more people understand their bodies, the better they can prevent complications, make informed choices, and live healthier, fuller lives.

So today, I encourage everyone to look after your feet, stay informed, and share what you know. Education saves lives, one step at a time. 👣💙

What an incredible two days at the Diabetes Summit! 💙

I had the absolute privilege of being part of Day 1 and Day 2, and all I can say is WOW. The amount of knowledge shared, the level of advocacy, and the openness to discuss diabetes from every angle — clinical, personal, and systemic — has been truly inspiring.

On Day 2, I also attended the full workshops, and it was eye-opening to witness the collaboration and passion in every discussion. A special mention to , Chairperson of the Diabetes Alliance, for his incredible leadership and the way he embraces people living with diabetes, colleagues, and even young professionals like myself. His belief in what we’re doing means so much, and his commitment to driving meaningful change is contagious.

As someone deeply passionate about diabetes advocacy and reducing lower limb amputation rates, this experience has strengthened my drive to make real, lasting change. Hearing directly from people with lived experience has shifted my clinical perspective — reminding me that every person and every treatment plan is unique.

If you’re passionate about advocacy, access to medication, or improving the way diabetes is managed for both children and adults I encourage you to join the and be part of the movement for change.

I’m so excited for Day 3 — there’s still so much to learn, share, and do together. 💙

✨ Facilitating My First Ever Workshop! ✨

I’m so grateful to the for the incredible opportunity to facilitate my first ever workshop with Dr Nosimilo Mlangeni (PhD) on Workplace Wellness – Diabetes in the Workplace. 💙

This session focused on understanding how workplaces can better support employees living with diabetes. Some of the items we explored:
✅ How workplace policies can be more inclusive and supportive
✅ The importance of education and empathy among employers and colleagues
✅ Real-life experiences from two amazing individuals living with diabetes, who shared their day-to-day challenges and triumphs

Our shared goal is clear to remove the stigma surrounding diabetes in the workplace, improve organisational policies, and foster understanding between employers and employees.

Creating healthier, more supportive workplaces starts with conversations like these and I’m honoured to be part of the movement driving that change. 🌿
